About Kendra

Christian, wife, mama, teacher

For years I raised my children as a stay-at-home mom, pouring my whole heart into our home and the little people God entrusted to me. Those years shaped me. They taught me that the quiet moments of life, the stirring of a pot on the stove, the folding of laundry, reading Scripture with tiny voices beside me, and tucking little ones into bed, were all set apart, touched by God right in the midst of the everyday. In the rhythm of these simple, ordinary tasks I experienced some of the sweetest ways I ever served Him.

Today, I work as an instructional designer, creating digital learning experiences from home. It is meaningful work, yet the constant deadlines, noise, and rush of the online world stir in me a quiet longing for the life I once breathed so naturally, with more stillness, more purpose, and more time to serve my family and my church in the way my heart was made to.

For now, Teach Me Thy Way is my way of returning home. It is a place where believers in every season can slow down, be encouraged, and find practical and spiritual support. A place for faith filled homemaking, simple rhythms, and Bible resources that help you teach, nurture, and shepherd the hearts God has placed in your care.

I believe a home can be a ministry. I believe meals can become moments of grace. I believe Scripture can gently guide every part of our day, from the biggest decisions to the smallest chores. And whether you are here for Bible studies, homemaking inspiration, or a little encouragement to lift your weary heart, my prayer is that you leave feeling strengthened, understood, and ready to walk your life His way.
